What is Random Lunch?
Random Lunch is an HR software that allows employees of medium or large companies to have lunch with colleagues they don’t know from other departments.Random Lunch helps employees to feel more connected and happier at work, contributing to their productivity and well-being.
Why do we need Random Lunch?
Having lunch with colleagues you don’t know is very difficult: One has to dare to contact the other and it takes time to get organized. Random Lunch makes these two steps easy for employees, and encourage them to do so regularly.
Is it possible to meet employees from other companies?
Random Lunch has chosen to focus on meetings within the same company. The link two colleagues is very strong and the Random Lunchs develop it.
Is Random Lunch free for employees?
Yes, service billing applies only to the company.
Who pays for the lunch?
Random lunches are standard lunches, so each participants pays for its consumptions. However, it is possible for the company to occasionally buy every participants their lunch.
Why are the Random Lunch always in groups of 4?
We chose to divide the participants into groups of 4 because 4 is a magic number : It is convenient to get a table of 4 at restaurants and and it avoids the hubbub of larger groups.2 can be a too intimate situation of head-to-head for reserved persons, 3 can be an awkward situation if someone is left aside. In addition, the 4-format is optimized for linking and has the flexibility to combine group conversations and 2-way conversations.
How to register?
The "Register" button, on the home screen of the application, allows you to enter your business email address and your password.A confirmation email is sent to your professional mailbox. It will allow us to confirm your identity and your business membership. It is possible that this email arrives in the folder "junk mail".After clicking on the activation link, you can log in to Random Lunch and discover your colleagues.Random Lunch is accessible only if your company has subscribed to the service. What happens if a colleague has to cancel its participation to a Random Lunch?
If he has an impediment, a participant can cancel his lunch. But it is obviously better if it remains exceptional.
What happens if the company is not equipped with a canteen?
The employee have lunch where they are used to.
How to set the HR administrator account?
Easy does it ! The HR department will receive an email containing an activation link. This link will direct them to a dashboard dedicated to their company where the following information will be requested: login email, password, legal schedule of lunches, place of meeting and company logo.
How to set up Random Lunch in the company?
Once the HR administrator account is set up, it is time to notify your employees. For this, we supply a customizable mail frame that you can broadcast in 3 ways: by mail, by posting and via the intranet.
Is training required to use Random Lunch?
No training nor installation is required to use Random Lunch. Fun and intuitive, Random Lunch is as easy to handle as a Doodle.
How to add new users?
The turnover of a company implies continuous entries and exits of employees.You have access to the list of the users, and you can add the new recruits by importing a file with their email address in two clicks. They will be onboarded automatically with one email.You can delete any of your users in one click.
How to organize the first Random Lunch?
You only have to select a day, a time and click on plan when you want to schedule a random lunch. The software will do the rest: invite the users to participate, divide the participants into group of 4, let them know which groups they belong to, and warns the other members of the groups in case of a cancellation of one of them.
